History & Accreditation

Founded in 1949, West Hills Christian School is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC).

West Hills Christian School is operated as an interdenominational non-profit corporation.

Over 1600 students have graduated from West Hills Christian School. Approximately 92% of alumni are now attending colleges and universities.

The 2014-15 operational budget is $2.9 million. Approximately 6% of the budget is supplemented with outside income.

Academic Achievements

In 2011-2012 we converted our standardized testing to Measures of Academic Progress (MAP), a computerized adaptive test which helps teachers, parents, and administrators improve learning for all students and make informed decisions to promote a child’s academic growth.
