Learning to Play Instruments at WHCS

Playing an instrument is a hands-on, cooperative activity that is designed to use and build upon musical skills and concepts. Students in our growing band program are exposed to instrumental music across a wide variety of genres and mediums. Each band rehearses two mornings per week and performs regularly throughout the year.

Future band members of West Hills enjoy practicing playing music during class.

Our child absolutely loves band. It’s been a joy to see him bloom and discover a love for music. He especially likes Mr. Fox.
