Hoop-A-Thon is our key student-driven fundraiser – think old-school jog-a-thon but way more fun! In addition to being a fundraiser, this event is a community building activity that is fun for the whole family.
Students gather pledges from friends, family, and neighbors. Sponsors of each student can pledge either a fixed dollar amount or a per-basket amount. Every pledge brings in much-needed funds to improve our school. Past projects include a new playground, library renovation, theater updates, and many others.
On Hoop Day, each student has 4 minutes to make as many free throws as he or she can. (The basket and distance are adjusted depending on the age of your child.) Parent volunteers are on hand throughout the day to rebound, count and cheer on… it’s definitely an all-school effort!
